Christopher Goffard

Christopher Goffard is an award-winning journalist, podcaster and novelist. At the Los Angeles Times, where he has covered crime and courts extensively, he was part of the Pulitzer-winning team that exposed corruption in the city of Bell. He has also twice been a Pulitzer finalist for feature writing. His book Snitch Jacket was a finalist for the Edger Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel in 2008, and his blockbuster podcast Dirty John was adapted for TV and ranked by Rolling Stone among the two greatest true-crime podcasts of all time. His serialized podcasts Detective Trapp and The Trials of Frank Carson are being developed for television. His latest book is a collection of his newspaper stories called Dirty John and Other True Stories of Outlaws and Outsiders.

Anne Louise Bannon’s husband says that his wife kills people for a living. Bannon does mostly write mysteries, including the Old Los Angeles Series, the Freddie and Kathy series, and the Operation Quickline series. She has worked as a freelance journalist for magazines and newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times. She and her husband, Michael Holland, created the wine education blog, and she co-wrote a book on poisons. Her latest novel is thriller Running Away to Boston. She and her husband live in Southern California with an assortment of critters

Our Last Meeting –

David Putnam is the prolific creator of the Bruno Johnson series of suspense novels. During his law enforcement career, David worked on teams for, SWAT, Narcotics, Violent Crimes, Criminal Intelligence, Internal Affairs, Detective Bureau and as child protective services coordinator. He rounded out his law enforcement career with three years in Hawaii as a Special Agent – part of a real-life “Hawaii Five-O″ team. The 11th book in the Bruno series, The Diabolical, comes out in February. He will be talking about the Anatomy of Violence, understanding how officers determine how much force to use.

Janet Elizabeth Lynn, and her husband, Will Zeilinger, have each lived and traveled over much of the world for business and pleasure. They have published eighteen books plus a few short stories and got
together to write the 1950s Skylar Drake Mystery Series. Their latest novel, “Stone Pub,” is a thriller set in 1962 and takes the reader on a dangerous trip to Ireland where betrayal and death lurk around every corner. Look for it written as Will Janns.
